FORMERLY FEATURED BLAZER

This Formerly Featured  Blazer belongs to:

“Tony Big Wheels”

(Click on the thumbnails for a better view)

And here it is under construction………

Tony started with a '77 K5 in the city of Manchester, about 250 miles north of London. That's the London in England. There are good sources over there, but it worked out to be cheaper and he was able to get the quality he wanted (other
reasons too) by going direct to single source in the US. Tony hooked up with Chris at National Tire and Wheel in Wheeling, W.Va. and together they came up with a parts list. He set up with a freight forwarder (Danzas) to handle
the all the import/export paper and get the parts shipped.

Except for the help from Chris, Tony was pretty much on his own. Nobody one town over to call and ask what do I do next? Quite a job! Take a look at some of the pictures above to get an idea of the before and after.

It’s 6 ft from the hood to the ground.

It’s 9 ft from the roof to the ground.

Here is a partial list of what went into it:

  • 12” Lift Front Springs

  • 8” Lift Rear Springs

  • 4” Lift Blocks

  • Urethane Bushings

  • Extended Braided Steel Brake Lines

  • Anti-roll Bar extension Brackets

  • Extended Emergency Brake cables and brackets

  • Extra Long Gas Shocks with Twin mounting Kit

  • 350 V650 Holley 4 Barrel

  • S/S headers with 4” S/S Side Pipes

  • Rear Ladder Bars

  • 44X18.5 Dick Cepek’s on Mickey Thompson 12 X15 Classic II Rims

 Message Boards

The lifeblood of most online communities like this one lies in the Message Boards where users help each other with info, show off their wheels or just share a laugh. There's a lot of horsepower out there. Most of the answers come from guys who really know their stuff. I'm sure I speak for a lot of guys when I say that their input is very much appreciated. These guys are like the pros I pay to do the heavy lifting on my truck that is beyond my equipment and know-how.

If you have not checked out our Message Boards yet, we encourage you to stop by and participate. We'll welcome you with open arms.
