Rattles, squeaks or leaks. It's inside and doesn't belong there. (See also Head Units below)

washer Fluid coming from rear roof trim panel 2000 5 door.

Hi
Saw washer fluid coming from the rear trim panel when I used the rear wash wipe even though there is still water coming from the nozzel. Upon getting the rear roof trim panel off, I noticed its coming from a hard plastic sleeve possibly an inline joint next to a rubber sleeve on the washer line. Has anyone come across this and if so has anyone managed to get it apart? I've tried reasonalbe force but as it's a hard hose I can't get any give?
Thanx.

Ok got another better look at it last night. Seems the rubber sleeve right beside it is the joint as I popped it apart there. Also this plastic sleeve appears to be part of the pipe as the other non leaking end looks like a sealed unit. I'm attempting a short term fix using plumbers mate 2 part. as it says it works when wet. the replacement pipe must go into the rear door and somewhere join to the rubber flexi pipe eminating from near the wiper arm.

seems to have cured it for now. took off the rear door trim panel while I was there. There are at least 2 more joints in there so it won't be a long piece to replace.
Now why oh why did they make the glass release on the rear hatch electricly operated too and not just a mechanical release with the electric over-ride on the dash. mine jammed in when I bought it and i fugured it had just gummed up but alas no.

Yea next time I get into my rear hatch I will be attaching a hood release somewhere so I can open my back hatch as its always jamming and I hate having to crawl into the back and pull the manual switch on mine and now my back panel is broken again. sometimes gm tries to get to fancy when simple is always better.
